JC Perez-Associate Principal
Juan Carlos (“JC”) Perez is an Associate Principal and joined Booth Hansen in 2016. JC’s intergenerational household and close relationship with his family sparked an interest in designing for the aging during his graduate career at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. While at UWM he received special recognition from the AIA Design for Aging Review. His master’s thesis project provided design solutions that would allow for lifelong communities to exist in suburbs by incorporating ideas of intergenerational housing, thereby allowing people to age in place. In his professional experience and looking forward into his career, JC hopes to design more inclusive and better performing architecture for the future generations.

JC earned his Master of Architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Architect in the State of Illinois and is a LEED accredited professional.
