Coast.

Booth Hansen’s work reflects a deep understanding of place - where land, water, and sky meet in constant dialogue.

Architecture shaped by the rhythm of water and light.

Drawing from the coast’s natural rhythms and material vernacular, our homes frame expansive horizons while grounding habitants in a sense of calm permanence. Generous glazing captures shifting light across the lake, while deep overhangs and natural materials—stone, cedar, zinc, and concrete—respond to the demands of wind, sun, and water.

Designing for the Water’s Edge.

Whether perched on a bluff or nestled within the dunes, Booth Hansen’s coastal architecture seeks harmony between human habitation and the elemental landscape. The result is work that feels both enduring and ephemeral—rooted in craft, yet open to the ever-changing nature of the water’s edge.
