White stone townhouses

Chestnut Row Homes provide unique single-family rental residences in the heart of downtown Chicago. Located at the corner of Clark and Chestnut Streets, these seven new row homes represent a contemporary interpretation of the 1880s Italianate homes found in the surrounding Gold Coast historic district. The design’s attention to history reflects the mission of the developer, Tawani Enterprises: “to preserve the past while creating timeless residences, commercial buildings and community investments that are relevant today and well into the future.”

Gracious bay windows create a cadence on the elegant limestone façade. Enhanced by traditional cornices, decorative railings and extensive streetscape, the building’s exterior harmonizes with its sophisticated surroundings. Inside, the four-level homes feature timeless finishes and custom detailing. Units are outfitted with personal elevators, enclosed underground parking, and private decks at the top floor that overlook a landscaped common space.
