Maria Pozo is an Associate and joined Booth Hansen in 2021. Maria has a creative design outlook that has pushed her to succeed in her field, connecting her eye for design and interest in the arts with the technical work of each client’s project. She brings a diverse point of view to Booth Hansen from studying and working in South America and Europe before moving to the United States. Most recently, Maria has been working on Oak Park Residences and Woodlawn AlFresco Urban Intervention, a community-based pro-bono project. Maria finds the wide range of work at Booth Hansen to be rewarding as it presents opportunities to give back to the Chicago community in immense ways.
Maria earned her Master of Architecture at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and her Bachelor of Architecture at Universidad de las Americas in Quito. During her Bachelor degree, she did a year abroad in the School of Architecture of Universidad Europea in Madrid Spain.
