Construction is underway on a Booth Hansen designed beach house in Indiana. When complete, the approximately 3,000 square foot house will feature a cantilevered glass and steel upper level atop a board formed concrete base. A curved roof, gesturing towards Lake Michigan, will open to views of the lake and dunes to the north and forested dunes to the south. The house, with broad overhangs for natural shading, also features a geothermal mechanical system, radiant heating, and an energy recovery ventilator.
