Chad Hanley

Principal/Technical Director
With strong technical prowess, Chad serves as Booth Hansen’s Technical Director. He provides project teams his expertise and reviews all documents for accuracy and constructibility as needed. He oversees specification production and coordination for the firm, and is a resource regarding code, materiality, sustainability, and best practices to ensure efficient and practical solutions.

Since joining Booth Hansen in 2002, Chad has contributed to a number of complex projects, including the multi-year adaptive reuse of the Palmolive Building containing 97 custom units, the renovation of 850 North Lakes Shore Drive, as well as other highly technical and detail oriented projects.

Chad was recently involved in the renovation of the historic Three Arts Club into Restoration Hardware’s flagship Chicago Gallery and the new Learning Center at the Chicago Botanic Garden that is expected to achieve LEED Platinum certification. His attention to detail is a key factor in the success of these projects.
