John Birazzi, AIA, CSI, CDT, LEED AP
 

John boasts the longest list of acronyms next to his name of anyone in the firm. With a career-long focus on constructability, John came to Booth Hansen in 2004 to be responsible for the enhancement of overall project quality and technical excellence in our planning and design process. His experience encompasses a broad range of project types, including corporate and commercial facilities, high rises, medical and university projects, building renovations and restorations, single- and multi-family residential, as well as retail, computing, and parking structures.

John received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology with honors. He is a registered architect in the state of Illinois and a licensed energy professional in the city of Chicago. John is also licensed for Self-Certification Permitting by the city of Chicago. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Architects as a member of the technical committee and is President-elect 2009 for the Chicago Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). John is a certified document technologist and a LEED Accredited Professional.
